Im waiting on my Isolette to come back from a CLA from Jurgen. To hold me over does anyone have any pics from their Isolette so I can see what Im getting into? Thanks!

Wow, I particularly love the Old School House Window shot! A GREAT contrastual element between the old boards and the filly lace curtain. Really, a clean shot. Beautiful.

Here's some images from the old Isolette, some cropped, some full 6x6.

Tulips in Skagit Valley - Taken with a fairly wide aperture to test out the bokeh...

Western Red Cedars in Quinault Valley - This particular grove goes for about 3 miles along the subsidiary benchlands above the river.

Overcoat Peak in the North Cascades - My climbing route goes up the center of the concave face, following ledges and ice runnels to the summit area. The scan is not of high quality, but I liked the composition enough to keep the image. The Isolette worked very well in the cold weather.

Ruby Beach, Olympic National Park - This was a crop from the center. The full frame had too much dark shadow area. I "sort of" salvaged this, but I wish I would have had an ND filter to at least hold in front of the Solinar lens, in hopes of bringing up more details in the shadows - oh well, lesson learned - ALWAYS carry the ND filter :bang:

Fog in the valley near Mount Steel. This is up the valley from my house.

Thanks Pesphoto (for starting this thread🙂), Larry and Victor (for the picks posted); i was asking myself if the money i'm going to spend to have my Isolette cla'd is worthwhile but after seeing your photo I feel i did the right thing.
There's only one problem more: I'M not able to take such a wonderful pictures and there's no cla for this :bang: !!

nico: The money you spend is ultimately worth it. There's no denying the quality of the Isolette, and you will get many years use out of it.

I am anxious to see more Isolette images if anyone could contribute somemore. And nico, whether you are a beginner or not matters little. ANY shot you take is a learning experience, and I would love to see how your Isolette performs when it comes back to you.
