W/NW: Japan

Nice, very nice.
I like the tones and compositions. What film are these shot on if I may ask?

Great topic !

EDIT: I live here in Japan (Hokkaido) for more than 6 years but do not have many "typical" photos of Japan ....

Thanks. This is Tri-X, either rated at box speed and developed in a blend of Rodinal and Xtol, or rated at 1600 and developed in Adox ATM49 1+1.

Okay, I finally got some photos with my new Canon G11. I like the camera.

Some wonderful and emotive photographs!

After longing to go to Japan for many years, I finally had both the time and money to go, so last April I travelled there for a month.

All photos taken with Rolleiflex 3.5F and various films.

I have more photos from my trip to Japan here. :)

A few years ago I had the chance to teach in Nagoya for six weeks. I took along my family. Lina was 6 months old and Dana was 18 months old. We had to push two strollers. It was a very positive experience for us.

I will load some photos up here sequentially as I find them.

Dana was a hit with young Japanese women:

Older women loved Lina. Lina was preoccuped in the subway train with the punk look:
