pls forgive the poor lab scanning. in terms of dof, there is probably marginal difference between a f1.4 and f2 lens. what the f1.4 gives you is that extra bit of light to get a shot..which can be important. i am happy with my hexanon f2 but it doesn't stop me from lusting after the 60/1.2!
I think the price of these can only go up so if you haven't already I'd get one while you can. To me these are a gift at $450-500 as mentioned in this recent post, http://rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=64382
I was considering selling mine but have decided against it as I know there is nothing else out there to compare with it at todays market price.
