The central part of Budapest often substitutes for places like Paris in movies and TV shows set in the cold war era. A good example is the Maigret TV series recently made starring Rowan Atkinson with the steps in the final image below showing up a few times in one episode.

(Say I wonder......if everything is reversed in a reflection why does this not mean the lamp sucks light in making the world darker. It would be a more interesting world if it did 🙂 )
