Williamstown Time Ball Tower (Melbourne, Australia) - Leica M10-R BP with Macro-Elmar-M 4/90mm
Built in 1849, the purpose of this bluestone building repeatedly alternated between lighthouse and time ball tower. The ball dropped daily at 1pm to allow captains to synchronise their ship chronometers. Still working today, but without any practical relevance, of course.
