Paul, thanks for your comment. I don't know what your inseam is but mine's 30 inches and these bikes are TALL. So I could barely get my toenails to touch (longer toenails are better). I think the seat height is about 34 inches. However, Suzuki has very clear instructions about how to lower it 1 1/2 inches. You disassemble the front forks and reverse a spacer, then remove the rear monoshock, make a couple of adjustments, then spend $50 for a shorter sidestand and you're off to the races. Now I can get the balls of my feet on the ground and, if I lean very slightly one way or the other, the heel touches (but never both heels at the same time). Great engine with amazing torque.
In Bisbee we now have 6 DR650's.

I can appreciate the short inseam problem....
I can appreciate the short inseam problem....
I have the same problem with my Yamaha XVZ1200. I did find that I can grow longer stronger toenails by spending enough time in any public gym shower room to catch a nail fungus. That added about 3/4 inch and quarter inch thicker to my toenails.
However, nothing I can do will make it easier for my balls to touch the ground. Not sure if I want that anyway at 70 MPH plus.
