Ducati, you here it before you see it.

A bit of a hot rod, quite possibly a 1978. They look so much better with the early style Imola tank. Had basically the same engine in my early 80s MHR. It's a beautiful exhaust note, particularly with Contis fitted.Ducati, you here it before you see it.

Over the years, I got used to it. But things are changing...bigger bikes with more horsepower...bit silly if you ask me since a 750cc bike would never get out of second gear. 150cc will get you through the inner-city traffic and on the highways. So far, I've never had an accident. Knock on wood...

^ As a teenager in the late '60's , my first motorcycle was a Honda Cub , which at the
time was so small I thought it barely able to carry me anywhere , so you can imagine
my sense of total awe the moment the cab took us from the airport to the Green Suites hotel in Saigon !

The Honda Cub is an amazing bike: "In continuous manufacture since 1958 with production surpassing 60 million in 2008, and 87 million in 2014, the Super Cub is the most produced motor bike in history. Variants include the C100, C50, C70, C90, C100EX and C70 Passport". [Source Wikipedia]

No worries mate, those BMWs sit nicely on the cilinders without falling all the way over doing more damage to the tank and sidepanels like most bikes
And on real crashes those cylinders save your legs as well - tried and tested many times myself.

Not only this, they're very reliable for a small single cylinder motos if you don't push them too much (good old air-cooled still). C90 usually ranks as the best from the bunch. While produced in millions ironically they're hard to find here in the Continental Europe.
