Looks like the production V-Rod. Harley went full tilt on engineering and design on this bike... out in 2001. They wouldn't put the engine out until it ran non-stop, 500 hours at full throttle on a test stand in desert heat.
Saw a two hour special on this bike. Just unbelievable, the work that went into it before the first one sold.

What they do is take a standard V-Rod, add chrome, special paint and wheels and the bigger engine--and instead of selling for $15K--it goes for $25K.
CVO is HD's Custom Vehicle Operations--they do a few thousand bikes per year across the model line.
A real HD expert can correct me here..
Pretty bike, though.
