W/NW: Not in your home country

2005 or earlier, I took my wife and two very young sons with me on a business trip to Vietnam then a side trip to a village a few hours drive from Hanoi and spent a few days lived native like sleeping on straw mats in stilted huts. There were a fair number of people from Europe mostly French but zero English speakers. We were on our own just wandered around until scheduled pick up in the morning.IMG_0542.jpeg
