Leslie West, once of Mountain and West, Bruce & Lang. He played at Woodstock. But here, he was reduced to a personal appearance at backyard party for a 40th high school reunion (no, I don't think it was the high school he attended). He played but one tune, a gospel. His audience was no more than 50 people....
His backing band? A couple high school kids and the party's host. Not exactly Woodstock. But, ol' Leslie still remembers how to play.To his credit, he sounded pretty good. At least two members of his band for the evening were not old enough to shave, let alone remember Woodstock.
