Where are we ?

Hi Helen. Thanks for the thought. The scene is on the San Francisco Bay waterfront. That area of the waterfront is called Aquatic Park, noted for its historic ship museum, Fisherman's Wharf tourist mecca, and home to a couple of historic swimmer's clubs. At any time of year the water there is COLD and yet I see swimmers out there everyday, winter or summer, in their orange swim caps and leathery skin.
