Peter, I keep coming back to this photo. It not my typical kind of photo but speaks to me for some unknown reason. Maybe I am trying to figure out why. It also appears a bit different from what you normally post here.

Hi Bob thank you. I agree it is a bit different from what I often shoot these days. I used to work just over Queen Victoria Square (the park you can just see on the right) and would often pop over the square to a nearby food market for lunch. On this particular day it was rainy and moody and I rather liked the atmospherics offered by the windy and rainy conditions. I often try to get mood into my shots as I think it is important for images to "speak" to people just as you say. I think this one pretty much just worked as it was that kind of day and not much was needed.

This is an old photo which I come back to from time to time. I have probably posted it as RFF before as a color image but I do not think I have posted it as a black and white one.

I like the worried look on the main subjects face. Something is clearly distressing him and it seems like his friends are offering him their support. Of course I could be wrong but that is how I read it.
