Took a 1/2 day off from work today to hike into this canyon and get this waterfall shot. It's on private property and they only let the public in Mon-Thur!!

And the second looks more like where I live now; by comparison it looks barren but it has a rich biosphere too.
I was born in Wenatchee and lived in Coulee Dam. I miss the smell of sagebrush. The shot of John Day dam reminds of your neck of the woods, too. Maybe next time I head over the mountains we can meet for some coffee.
