Rich, love the composition, the line running down to he left gives it a “so sad” look

This is a 50mm at f2.8, but I can’t remember the actual lens

Shot with a 50mmm summicon at F2, both on HP5+

Stephan, I really like the look of the second portrait you posted -- which version of the 50mm summicron did you use? An older one?

Hey, that's a coincidence, I just saw this picture on flickr 10 minutes ago ! And a very nice shot it is too, nice soft tones.

Thanks, it's actually the SLR canadian version with built-in hood, I think that makes it 2nd or 3rd generation ? Not sure about that.

BTW...Rich, I really like your work. I check your blog frequently to see new stuff.

Both taken with Epson R-D1, 400 ISO @ F2.8

Some really excellent images in this thread. Makes me want to talk my wife into posing for a while (not easy).

Canon 135 3.5@1000 leica 3f, I took out most of the swampy looking color.

Steve, real nice. How do you scan your negatives?

Oh thanks, Rich...they are courtesy of whatever the kids at CVS cook up. I end up removing dust and scratches though.

Edit: And I'll just add, that, as this picture proves with the scalping of the head there, parallax error is a heartbreak (for me at least, maybe if I were better at it), and I don't use this lens on my screwmounts anymore.
