I'm thinking of window glass, the way we look at rain on windows or windshields rather than through the glass to whatever lies beyond. But you may have images where rain streaks other surfaces--marble, skin, chrome. Or the sky itself! Closeups welcome.

No streak in this, but the 28 2.8 Biogon (or the filter) was smeared with rain, so just the lower left is clear:
