I'm getting tons of flare on my Rollei Automat X. This normal? Would a hood really help?

Part of last years Art Biennale here in Vancouver. Mrs Mao balancing on Lenin's head. Rolleiflex E with Planar 75f3.5. Outdated TriX (though shalt check dark corners of darkroom at least once a decade!). Rodinal 1:100 stand development 60 min.

The famous Packard "Donut pusher" radiator cap. Rolleiflex E, Planar 75f3.5 @3.5 and 1 meter. Tmax 2-400 in HC 110 1:60 for 11 min.
