300 year old Portuguese Fort, Balibo, Timor Leste.

My birthfather Gary Cunningham, a TV cameraman, was murdered in 1975 below these walls along with 4 colleagues.. My Trust is restoring this fort to support tourism and the local community -http://balibohouse.com/our-work/strengthening-balibo-fort/

It couldn't have been either easy or pleasant to visit this awful place jmilkins, yet you have become part of a Trust which is doing such an excellent job in restoring this building as well as honouring and respecting the site and helping the local economy.
