Film is cheap therapy!
Rob,
As a fellow NJ resident, I would be interested in knowing where this house is. Who did you speak with about gaining access to the property? I am always looking to shoot local images.

I hate to see these fine old homes simply left to decay. Must have been quite a structure in its day.
I love them. They serve as a reminder that regardless of a thing's grandeur today, that "this too shall pass".

Hi Rob, thanks!
This is Chichén Itza in Yucatan penninsula, Mexico. This is now considered one of the 8th wonder (or don´t know what number) of the world.
After being so you can´t go walking into the buildings.
The first shot is the observatory, Mayans used to map the skies and up in the terrace there are some stones with concave holes that were filled with water in order to be able to look ant the sun without getting blind.
The other buildings can´t say for sure, but always for clergy and aristocracy (as usual).
Bye

Hey! Jersey has a good Governor now plus they have the cake boss, they gotta rebound!Sounds like the town/county should pick up that property and restore it as a preserve with a location like that... Too bad Jersey's broke.

Here is a shot that covers most of what's left of the Baths. You can see the stairs in the upper left.

great images everyone.
Roger, I like the fading fresco in the image from Spain.
Carlos, your shot in very captivating to me. Where was it taken?
elmer3.5, that head on the ground is very reminiscent of a gargoyle head in terra cotta that I have in my yard and that we believe was rescued during a renovation of the Woolworth Building in NYC.
