w/nw Ruins

Yup, I got lucky all around. Went out to grab a few shots, got to a sheltered area and the rain poured down. A few minutes later it stopped and the early evening sun put the rainbow just where I needed it.

The old Parcel Force building that looms over Temple Meads train station, and also the Bristol Wood Recycling Project where I volunteer.
It's just so huge and empty, and creates a pretty good echo when we start using tools!

all of these shots at Summerhill Park, Madison, New Jersey, the site of a now-gone gilded era mansion. these ruins were the greenhouses at the back of the estate. Madison is still known as "the Rose City." in the period of the 1870's through the early 20th century, Madison was the rose-growing capital of the US.
