We have had 3 shark attacks in Sydney over the past 24hours. [edit: now 4 attacks in 48 hours, the most recent was up the coast a few hundred kms]. In two cases the victims are in a critical condition. The third (a boy of 11) escaped with just a large bite out of his surfboard. All local beaches are closed until further notice. There was another, fatal shark attack a few months ago. Shark attacks are more likely after periods of heavy rain and when the water is warm.

Took the Lumix DMC-LZ7 from 2006 out earlier after dropping one of the kids off, as Zuiko-logist sent me the hood and a spare battery after having the camera from him for a year or so, in one review it said that:

Higher than average Noise at ISO 80
Strong color noise at ISO 200+

All these were at 400!

This Lumix LZ7 is fun....
