Sorry for the inordinate delay in reply; I hadn't followed the thread that I started!

As far as processing, it's an image from an R-D1 that I processed in Adobe Photoshop Elements. Used layers to develop the vignette (e.g. oval selection tool, with feathering, BW conversion using Fotomatic BW-Plus filter, and grain addition with Elements grain feature. Please ask if you want any more specifics.
