I'll trade ya a couple of deepfried Mars Bars from the state fair down here in Tar Heel country for a bag of those "Fryed Oreos". Yummy-yummy indeed, as long as you don't tell your arteries.

Lawrence, I could use a hearcut. Is that anything like the old saw... the customer sits in the barber's chair and requests, "Just lower my ears a bit?"

I got one of those, too ... but my number is a lot lower than yours, Paul.

It must be an industry standard size and type. Our area is a big producer of methane; thousands of taps and pumps dot our part of the county.

Paul, this is America. There's probably some arcane federal regulation about the size and color of these signs. The government can't ensure that our food is free of e. coli or our water free of spilled petroleum. But, they can make sure that all gas pipelines are marked with the same signs. Our tax dollars at work. Nice photograph, btw.

Well, not sure if this is "signage", but it's a new form of street art / graffiti that I've noted recently in my community. Someone is putting "YES WE'RE OPEN" lettering on boarded up buildings / doors.
