The Velocette company went out of business many years ago. The workshops I posted are in Brooklands museum and were rented lockups used by racing teams, take a look at this link

This is a 1929 Velocette that I shot last week in the display shed. (There's a sign in the picture so I suppose it counts) :)

Thanks for the information. When George Freeman Bailey (a close friend) got drafted in 1965 he entrusted his Velocette Thruxton to me (I had a garage) with the suggestion that I ride it occasionally. I certainly did that. I have no idea in what year it was manufactured but it was one of the best handling machines I have ridden.
