Beautiful shots everyone. Sounds like we're getting hit this weekend, and maybe another one in the middle of next week. I'll be getting more Snow 2010 shots!
 
Gid, on my monitor, your photos seem over contrasty, for I cannot see any detail in the snow and my eyes hurt. Just a friendly recommendation to tone down the contrast. I do however like your last image- great bleakness to it.

Thanks for the comment. The first two are actually over exposed, but I liked the fact that the result was more impressionistic with very little detail.

Glad that worked for you, but I don't get any sense of "impressionism" from these - just ocular pain, as previously mentioned.

Maybe my monitor ? :D

We should be so lucky. They are calling from 18" to 24" in Virginia. I have 20 gallons of gas for the generator.
