Coming down here. I've cleared half the driveway, the hard part, with the electric leaf blower. It's not wet and clumpy like last time. Lot of winds, so I hope we keep power again. Last storm, half the neighborhood was without power for 4 days. Tree went down, caused an electrical fire. Our Snow Plow driver was lucky, said it almost came down on him.

Yep, snow and wind. Wind is good for some of the evergreens though. Cleans off the accumulations.

Don't forget the birds. Blackbirds seem to like cat food over song bird seeds. I now have red spots all over my snow. The birds are nervous about the food on the ground (there are neighborhood cats), but desparation drives them cautiously to it.

Wish I could get out to film some of this, but arthroscopy, although better than gross slicing of tissue, muscle and tendons, isn't necessarily as easy as sports casters make it sound.

I put some food out for the birds and deer, will put out more after it stops. We occasionally see a neighbor's cat come through, but not in this weather.

Hope you feel better. I'll get out later with a camera.

All great shots guys!

Amy, I like that one... compositionally static and centered and symmetrical... and by contrast the falling snow is dynamic and random.

Today with my Son on a photo walk about
