Japan Womens Team won Silver in 2012, Bronze in 2016 but never in Singles games...this year, China's Chen Meng, Sun Yingsha, Liu Shiwen and Wang Mengyi (back up) are representing China, by Olympic rule, only two are allowed to enter the Singles game...
