Ok, let's give this main page a bit of marcha
On my recent shots in the gallery several people commented (thanks!) that they liked the sun being into the frame. I'm sure we all have shots that way, let's look at them !
I like shooting against the sun, on one side, if it turns out decent enough that gives always a sort of extra force to the image, on the other it allows me to see how different lenses behave under that abuse
This one was taken in the Barceloneta quarter, on the spring of 2004, while on my RFF meeting with Francisco and Frances in Barcelona, with a Kiev 4a and a J-12 lens.
Let's see yours !

i just realized that i don't have any photos made with a rf that have the Sun in the frame!
[Sounds like a plan.]

I give you not one but four
First three were taken in London on HP5+ (same roll) G2 + 28
I guess using the hood would have controlled the flare a bit
better.
Last one is digital
taken with a 300D
(sold it in the end)

Wonderful shots everybody ! Mihai I love your first one, everybody in the middle seems to be gazing at the sun except the one looking at you
Keep them coming !
The sun is here, even if on this one it was shy, yet can still be seen
Ricoh 35ZF and Superia 100.

Can a hood really do anything if the source of the glare is actually framed in the picture? Maybe if you had a glass building off camera I guess.

Here are three shots:
1 and 2 were shot at -10 deg. F. with a Kiev 4A and Jupiter 12. Film was Kodak BWC400. Exposure was with a yellow filter on the lens at f11 @ 1/500 sec.
3 was shot with a Fuji GS645 folder with a yellow filter and Kodak Portra 400 B&W. Can't remember and didn't log the exposure data.
For some reason I like shooting into the sun, I don't know why.
I have other shots but they were not with rangefinders so I didn't post 'em.

Here are a couple of sun pictures. Unfortunately they were captured with a digital camera.
