I've posted these two a few times. The flare is one of the reasons I find it difficult to sell my 35/2 Mk4, but I think it's going to go now that I have the 35/1.4 preasph. From Yellowstone:

I never quite understood why people immediately dismissed pictures because of lens flare (or because of grain for that matter) because it can sometimes add a whole lot to the feeling or atmosphere of a picture (as the photos in this thread well attest).
