Loving it. Reminds me of the Sunday suit of my childhood days -the shoes had to be black, and I had to wear a bow tie! Cheers, OtL

Yep these were the good old days.
Yours truly, circa mid 1950's. (Don't ask about the baby "smock" - I don't know the answer and maybe would not answer if I could
)
And circa early-mid 1960's
And circa 1990 (ish)

Mike,
that picture of Mt Fuji is in my mind an Hokusai of modern times!
In a way I am too obsessed by Mt Fuji since I always wanted to buy a Japanese pen (e.g. a Namiki pen) with the famous Hokusai wave.
So far I never made it (I have perhaps more pens than cameras!), but you never know
BTW, Years ago I have visited in Rome (at the ARA PACIS) an exposition of Hokusai and other artists of his time.
Cheers

Incidentally, I remember you already posted this photo. Right? Or is it a similar one?
I ask this because once I was posting a photo (from my disk) and I was stopped by the system giving an error message because photos cannot be posted twice.
Is there a work around? Does this rule not apply if the photo is in the gallery?

Paul, I don't know of any rules like that these days. I see repeat photos in various threads. And, in my dotage, I probably repeat myself constantly and post duplicate photos.

Hi Paul! That Mt. Fuji picture is a favorite of mine. Since I no longer drive a car I'll probably never have a chance to see Mt. Fuji like that again.
All the best,

Paul, ditto what Dogman said. I see other members posting the same pictures all over the place on RFF so I doubt there's any rule against it.
All the best,
Mike
