What is it about contemplating the infinite? To gaze deep into the night sky or to stand on the ocean shore or a mountain top and see an endless expanse… it can bring a sense of wonder and inner peace.

The infinite can reveal itself in the reflections of clouds in a small pond, or fractals and repeating patterns.

Views of the infinite alleviate the claustrophobia of living in boxed spaces - apartments, houses, office buildings, vehicles. Even if those views are only pictures on the walls.

I like to go to the coast and gaze out over the shifting ocean to the horizon far away. It feels like standing on the edge of the world. I take pictures of it almost every day. It is the best medicine… good for the soul.
