Twenty some odd years ago when I first started making pictures of motorsports racing, I remember a seasoned pro, upon seeing me using a wide angle lens, telling me that when I get the car framed perfectly in my lens, it will have already run me over.
This thread is for images a photographer made right before something in the image "took the photographer out", so to speak.
Last Friday night, covering High School Football. I was following a certain receiver and took my eye off the ball, unfortunately the quarterback overthrew.
Ouch!
