Went to the Outer Banks in North Carolina last week for self-isolation and to get away from the city for a while. Brought my 4x5 Linhof camera and 50 sheets of film to take long exposures of the ocean ... only to realize at my arrival that I forgot my tripod. 😡 Oh well. Then I realized that I had my Fuji X-T3 with me (which I only occasionally use for family snapshots), put it into monochrome mode, taped my 77mm ND1000 filter in front of the tiny lens, wedged the camera into a beach chair and took 1-min exposures. Different shots from the exact same location at different times and different days. Now I am wondering: why am I futzing around with 135/120/4x5 film cameras when my little Fuji X-T3 is so incredibly powerful? 😕
