This photo was taken around 1990 when in the Solomon Islands aboard the sailing ship "Eye of the Wind". Shot on slide film almost certainly on a Nikonos 5 camera with a Nikkor 35mm f2.5 lens.
It is late in the day with evening approaching and the ship at anchor with the anchor light burning. A distant squall over the island of Guadalcanal.
