I did not know you were into super-wide lenses. My favorite super-wide lens is the Voigtlander Super-Wide Heliar V.III 4.5/15, which is designed for use with digital cameras. Easy to find at a moderate price point. Some samples:

This is what I posted when I first bought the 8mm lens:

I struggle with lenses that are 21mm (full frame) or wider. If I get a well composed picture with a 21mm lens there was some luck involved in the process. So, of course I bought the Fujinon 8mm (FF EQ 12mm) f3.5 lens because I want to punish myself with the challenge of getting better at something I historically suck at - wide angle photography.

So far I'm having a lot of fun with the XF 8mm f3.5 R WR lens. I'm glad I bought it.
