Mike, you are by far the best B&W photographer I've seen in a small eternity.
I fairly die with envy when I look at your monochrome images.
At my age the so-called charms of color have largely fallen by the wayside. B&W is what I started with in the 1960s, and it's likely what I will return to before I shuffle off this mortal coil - I hope later rather than sooner, but one never knows.
My big problem is, Indonesia where I mostly hang out is a wild color sort of place. B&W really doesn't cut It except for street work in the cities, and even then the glare washes out all the mid-tones. Oh well.
