in happier times. this was shot the weekend in 1985 when the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty was being celebrated along with its unveiling after a long, scaffold-cover renovation. this was on the grounds of the Colgate-Palmolive plant in Jersey City which hosted a big party all weekend in honor of the statue. The gothic tower to the left of the WTC towers is the Woolworth Building. Designed by Cass Gilbert, it was, for a time, the tallest building in the world. Hard to believe.
