I rode this camion (flatbed truck converted to haul people) from Pinar del Rio over the mountain to the small community of Cabeza in Cuba last week. The trip took about one hour of which 30 minutes was grunting along in first gear to get up the mountain. This is how the middle school kids from Cabeza get to school in town. There were about 100 people crammed in with me so I could only get one arm free to hold the camera. And it rained with many holes in the canvas roof and open windows.

Actually I did not need to go to Cabeza, I just wanted to ride in a camion so I could photograph the experience.

Do you know if these things are considered Cars or Motorcycles? They have steering wheels and roll bars, I would think they are cars. The difference being having to wear a helmet in our state.

It's a motorcycle, or autocycle per Wiki,

for sure you need to check w the dealer, DMV or AAA,
