Thanks - showing the way I see things, is probably what that picture does best. I did stop shooting for 18 or so years, but I never stopped using my eyes. And getting older seams to be a great advantages!

looks like the steep walls of a canyon, but in reality these trees sit atop the ridge above a rock quarry...

it took forever to figure out what caused the vignetting at the top of the frame. on this cold day, it turns out the brim of my hat was casting a shadow from the sun setting behind me.
