David Deutsch. The Fabric of Reality. He gives a good account of the many worlds quantum theory and he digs deep in every chapter. There are chapters on physics, evolution and mathematics. I haven’t read the maths chapters yet. He gives a guide of how to read the book selectively. That’s uncommon. He is a great champion of Karl Popper, still underestimated in his view. Common sense comes in for a drubbing. An approachable and absorbing book. First out in 1997.
