It's been too long I haven't shot some film - good thing tomorrow and Saturday I have two events to take pictures of...

..in the meantime, some f/1.7 captures.

Todd: I dig the...poppies, are they? And Trittium, nice "sunglasses" capture. As for me, an oldie, but I'm slow with the scanner...

Canon P, J-3 mostly wide-open...if not fully, then very close. Ilford HP5.

TY mcamero - she's my favortie model. VERY shallow DOF with that lens - I at least managet to get one eye in focus.

John, the focus and colors turned out great... reminds me of afternoon naps as a kid, listening to my parent's old LPs...

I'm not sure which way you were headed, but one of my all-time favorite views is an airplane 'A' seat on a flight into SFO from up north (Seattle, Portland, etc.) late afternoon right around this spot. On every flight I've been on, the Capt'n tips the wing towards the city. I'm getting verkelmpt! ;)

Yup Ray, I was inbound from Minnesota. This was the first time a captain has come in this way from there, and I was pretty excited. Here's two more wide open night skopar shots for more verkelmpt-ness!
