Fun

Fun

Ania checking out baby clothes after a very good friend of ours gave birth to a little boy.
The label on the shirt which is in focus reads "fun", which it definitely was for Ania.

M-Hexanon 50/2.0 wide open.

The second one was taken with a Jupiter-3 bought from leon1965jazz via the bay.
No complaints about sharpness and focussing.

Uwe - You could cross-post the shot you put up in "Girls With Cameras" - lovely OOF in that picture. Lovely IF, too.

John,
Actually, I hadn't noticed the bokeh in that shot before you mentioned it. But you're right - it looks quite nice.
I sold my Canon EF gear some time ago, because I got very annoyed with the German service on a digital G3 I also had at that time. So, the Tokina also went. It was quite nice, but very heavy and quite unusable wide open; therefore: no regrets!

Re. x-posting pictures: I actually like the bokeh of my J-3 in this picture much better, although the scan does not do it any justice - maybe it got oversharpened; the print, however, has a really nice dreamy feel in the OOF area with the IF area being unexpectedly sharp.

MAN! Does anyone else think this thread is pulling some of the best photos on the site? Inspiring is right! Here's a couple more of my modest efforts:

Some smaller/medium images would help load the page faster, guys, specially for those who don't have broadband connections.
