It's about the end of the year, it's time to look back and see what we got from this fantastic year of roster. For me I finished my first year of PhD and shot during the weekends in Sydney, a great place to live.
When you turn around, I believe everyone might have a favorite shot in his/her own works. For me, I chose this one, shot in a alley in Rocks. Where luckily I captured this happy moment. This might also represents it's a happy year for me. Shot with Tmax 100.

Enough about me, how about you guys. Let's share the happiness, sadness, exciting moments together. And hoping 2018 will be better.

I'm not sure if I'd use the word "favorite" but this was probobly the best resulting picture I've taken in the last year from Milo event at Berkeley back in Febuary where Black Bloc kids got a wee bit out of hand.

Creatively speaking, a lackluster year for me. I bounced around thematically and gear-wise and never really found my way. Here's hoping 2018 is brighter.

My favorites from this year were of family, such as this one of my son.

I have one personal favorite work this year printed in the darkroom.
It is not for showing, but for contest, if I decide to enter in so called street photography contest.
Don't know if they will take it or chicken out to show, judge it.

One personal favorite picture to show:

Taken with Jupiter-12 (one of the first made) which I received as the gift and CLA'd in 2016 on M8,
which I purchased on RFF in 2017 and sold here as well. Good camera.

feeling romantic right now, ask me tomorrow and I may choose another ;)
( thank's god I am no "Pro", can't think of my fun taking photos as "work" )

It has been a very productive year for me, I got quite a few good shots. Forced to choose, I will probably choose this one although sometimes I think I prefer others.

Vince, that photo's incredible.

Hard to pick a favourite from the whole year. I reckon my favourite 'normal' photo is one of these two. Both happen to be by the sea which makes me want to move to the coast even more... First one with a Kodak Retina, second with a Minox 35.

A couple of my personal faves for 2017 ...

First, the Roseman Bridge, done with Svema film on the Pentax, and the odd tonality really "worked" for this one.

Second was a couple weekends ago, one where the light was just right and I saw it from just the right angle, and grabbed it on a {blush} di... dig... OK, so I did! :)
