Perhaps, perhaps, this could be made an option for individual users to configure? That could satisfy everyones' needs or desires (on this issue.)

I think I will just HAVE to setup a poll for this one ......

And you're just the guy to do it.
A word of caution: everyone must keep in mind that for the dial up users, viewing full size images in threads will be a much more significant problem than it is for those who dislike having to click on thumbnails to view the images.
I don't think it would be fair to decide this by a simple majority (50% +1) since the outcome will have a much greater effect on some people than others.
Did I explain that clearly?

That's what I was trying to say

This is how thumbnails look on my 3.5 year old laptop, which is the most modern computer I have at home. The other is a five year old Celeron hooked up to a TV!

I like the idea (in a W/NW thread especially) of viewing larger images rather than thumbnails.
I spent an hour or so last night trying to work out how to have an image appear in Manny's RFF April Salon thread - it is one image that means a lot to me personally and I wanted it bigger than a thumbnail .
For some reason though, code was off for me on that thread (still is) , but it's on for me here?
Do we have to have the IMG codeindividually turned on for us by the mods or Jorge? Or is it on for some threads and not others?
Or am I just too cyber-illiterate ;)

Same here! I've spent too much time trying to get this to work in the past. I think this is the biggest stumbling block to getting support behind the idea of linline images. People don't know how to do it. :bang: The process doesn't seem to work for me, either.
