For me, having the G1 for nearly a year, the GF1 isn't a compelling enough replacement...I would only get one as a 2nd body.
Yes, it's a nice attractive camera, but it's a lot more than I paid for my G1 ($468 new) and only offers one additional feature (video), plus the EVF is a downgrade and $180 additional expense. And no swivel screen...
I also don't mind the looks of the G1, as I don't buy cameras for looks; it doesn't attract attention, always a good thing.
