Yes it is 🙁 ... I'm not playing in the 1st league (Leica, Zeiss-Ikon, Bessa, XPAN etc..) but I'm really dying to get my ventilated lens hood, my kiev J-9, and my 50/2 collapsible sonnar !!!!

Well, the bottom grip is a clue, the Flash V was made for it, the Canon 50/1.2 was introduced with it......

Only the Canon 7 models had the extra mounting ring for the 0.95. I've heard of earlier models that have had the lens mount changed. I'd question the ability of the RF to focus the lens under all conditions, or even just wide open. Check back, if you can, and see what they say about the camera.
