But here's my version of wall and flowers that I like most from my own ones:
(it was wintertime..behind my house in the little garden in the corner grows a persistent rose "bush"... contax iia with sonnar 50/1.5, on kodak E100SW)

Tricky exposure in the roses picture.

I incident-metered the light falling on the wall behind.
Incident metering is the best, when you can do it.
People should walk around on the street with incident meter domes glued on them so we photographers don't have to do anything just read the numbers and set and expose. 😀
