Walmart and b&w film processing

Thanks again. I think I'll just drop off a roll of Tri-X and see what happens. I guess I'll mark it "develop only, do not cut" or something like that, along with "B&W Tri-X"

The Wal-Mart near me, always prints, but I don't pay for it, I just rip them up.. I write on the bag at the top and bottom clearly, "NO PRINTS". but, I think is totally automatic, and they may not be able to: "Not Print", or Leave uncut...

Just a quick question for those of you who use Walmart for film processing, do you then scan your negatives? mean Walmart doesn't do scanning do they?

Yes they will do negatives with a CD, or just negatives. Most drug stores will do the same. The scans are only moderate resolution however, good for non critical work or camera testing, or for use as "proofs". A good film scanner for you PC can usually do a better job if you learn the basics of its use.
