Tho it's an interesting crossover - since an ambient smell could be considered to set the overall feel of a place, as much as ambient bokeh could help set the feel of a photograph.

My collapsible summicron did have a rather faint smell of Old Spice Cologne. For a while I used to wonder who wore it, where it was stored. Then I asked the seller: he didn't know, and recommended me to air it out.

So, when speaking of aromatic lenses... I have a former one! 🙂
