want a water proof, protective backpack in small size

Does this kind of bag exist? by small i mean only taking one body+one lens, styling like a pupil one. i'm now using one, very low level, easy broken, hydrophilic. Since it's going down i want to get a new one.
it has to be a backpack. i know shoulder bag handsome. but backpack is more comfortable. please share.

I thought of the Lowepro AW (All-Weather) series, but didn't see one on their website of the size you wanted. And they are pricey! What about treating a Student's backpack with Nikwax or Scotchgard, then keep a large ziplock freezer bag inside for contingencies?

I would just put the camera in something like a Pelican case or a proper dry bag, and then put it in any backpack.

The Timbuk2 Hemlock is extremely water resistant and can expand to fit almost anything. It's shameful how much I love this backpack.

Try the Ortlieb line of backpacks. They are excellent, and are truly waterproof where others are only water-resistant.
