Hi all,

I've been given a good looking konica III with a bit haze in the vf (the rf is contasty and clean) and what appears to be a dead shutter. Also, the apperture blades are a mess.

Anybody wants this as a project? I can't bring myself to throw it out.

I would take it off your hands as well, if serg-k3 changes his mind.

FWIW, though, I just had one of those apart not that long ago. If it's the Konirapid MFX shutter, it's basically just a Synchro-Compur copy (I haven't seen the inside of the later Seikosha shutter, but I'd be surprised if it's all that different). If it's sticking a little lighter fluid on the shutter blades will likely free it up (front element of the lens unscrews and the blades are right there). If the aperture is physically damaged, well, that's a bigger problem, but again, if it's just oily or dirty, it's easy to clean up.
